History | Worship | Stewardship | Church Staff
We believe that worship is at the heart of our Christian faith. It
is a time that we come together to praise and glorify God, affirm
our beliefs, celebrate, hear an inspiring message of hope,
experience the beauty of music, and journey together on a path of
spiritual growth. We strive t o make worship a personal experience,
both warm and friendly.
Sunday morning worship services are celebrated
at 8:30 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. in the Sanctuary. The 8:30 service
offers a more casual setting, often with special music.
The 10:45 service is slightly more formal and the Chancel
Choir presents weekly anthems.
Communion:
The sacrament of Holy Communion is an outward and visible sign of
the grace of God. In it we celebrate God’s gift of Salvation through
Jesus Christ. It is one of the primary ways we, as Christians,
encounter the risen Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit.
Communion in the United Methodist Church is open to all, including
children, regardless of church affiliation. The Lord’s Supper, Holy
Communion, is celebrated on the first Sunday of each month as a part
of both worship services and at other special times of the year.
Baptism:
The sacrament of baptism is celebrated for children, youth, and
adults. As a sacrament, baptism is also an outward and visible sign
of God’s grace. Through baptism we enter into the Body of Christ,
the Church. We acknowledge God’s grace that has always been with us
and begin the journey of faith and discipleship.
Baptisms may be scheduled for worship on any Sunday by
contacting our minister, Rev. Don Yeager.
